On 27 June, volunteers from the 2018-2019 cohort of the Sport4Youth program had the opportunity to participate to their diploma ceremony! Almost a year and a half after they joining the program, 33 of the 39 volunteers received their Sport4Youth Diploma. In order to graduate, the volunteers had to pass an evaluation of their knowledge and skills as facilitators.

Those of them that were not able to pass the evaluation did not go home empty handed! In recognition of their voluntarism and efforts to promote inter-ethnic dialogue and reconciliation, all volunteers received a participation certificate.

The diploma ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Didier Chabert, French Ambassador in Kosovo, alongside representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Kosovo.

The volunteers ended their day by celebrating together at a new attraction in Pristina called “Illusium” – a “museum of illusions” which allows visitors to take “impossible” photos and selfies!

PLAY International is especially grateful to the Embassy of France in Kosovo for its generous support for the Sport4Youth program and the diploma ceremony.
