From February 27 to March 2, PLAY International Kosovo organised a five-day Training of Trainers session in Brezovica, Kosovo as part of the Sport4Resilience project. This event brought together 11 passionate trainers from our partner NGO’s TAKT (North Macedonia) and REGSPO (Montenegro), all united by a shared goal: to harness the power of sport for positive change in their communities.

The Training of Trainers workshop served as a platform for participants to enhance their facilitation skills, deepen their understanding of Playdagogy, and explore effective strategies for teacher training. Through interactive sessions, role-plays, and group discussions, attendees delved into various aspects of tackling ethnic and gender discrimination through sport.

One of the key highlights of the event was the spirit of collaboration and fellowship among the participants. Despite coming from different professional backgrounds, everyone shared a common dedication to creating meaningful impact through teacher training. This shared passion fostered an environment of mutual learning and support, where ideas were exchanged freely, and best practices were shared generously.

Throughout the training sessions, participants were actively engaged in hands-on activities and practical exercises, allowing them to apply newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios. From designing engaging activities to leading Playdagogy games, each session was designed to equip trainers with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in their roles as teacher trainers of Playdagogy.

As the Sport4Resilience project continues to unfold, the impact of this Training of Trainers event will be felt across schools in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Through the dedication and commitment of these empowered trainers, teachers and their students will benefit from the transformative power of sport, fostering resilience, promoting inclusion, and driving positive change.
