New Explorers on Canal +

The New Explorers in the Great Lakes Region! In the episode New Explorers, broadcast on Canal + on November 30, 2014, Manuel Herrero introduces us to the sports culture of three countries in the Great Lakes region. This 52-minute documentary presents in particular the actions of PL4Y International (formerly Sport Sans Fronrières) in Burundi in the displaced persons camps of Bujumbura.

The long subject on the NGO's actions shows that sport is a powerful tool for reconstruction and social change for populations often affected by violent conflicts.

Since 2008, PL4Y International has placed at the heart of sports activities the themes of violence, living together, children's rights and HIV. Its action reaches both schoolchildren and street children as well as those living in camps for displaced persons.
